Our learning philosophy is to LEARN, CREATE an artifact that shows our learning, and then SHARE it in creative ways, including posting it here on this blog.The purpose of this blog is for students to become accustomed to sharing their learning, recieving feedback, and preparing them for having their very own blog.While students will make every effort to have work corrected and error free it is in fact authentic student work, showing where students are at, and so there are likely to be some mistakes. Orienteering By Aidan C


On Wednesday many year 5 and 6's from Waikanae school and Kapunui school went to Waikanae park to participate in orienteering. Aidan C and Dylan B are from Waikanae school. They are best Friends and have known each other since they were 3. They were buddy's for the orienteering. When the people were explaining Dylan and Aidan were at the back. So they didn't hear much. In fact they found out what to do when they found a group of people. It was  to find  all of the 19 clippers (clippers are basically thing that poke 9 holes in  paper). But they didn't bother use  the map provided. They just randomly rand around dodging the horse poo (Aidan once stepped in some. YUCK!) and clipping the paper. They once got split up twice! But luckily they found each other. One time Dylan found another clip. in the end Aidan found 17 clips and Dylan found 18.
