This is an exciting blog from Room 11 children giving them the opportunity to learn, create and share their discoveries.
Welcome to this Room 11 blog. Our learning philosophy is to LEARN, CREATE an artifact that shows our learning, and then SHARE it in creative ways, including posting it here on this blog. The purpose of this blog is for students to become accustomed to sharing their learning, recieving feedback, and preparing them for having their very own blog. While students will make every effort to have work corrected and error free it is in fact authentic student work, showing where students are at, and so there are likely to be some mistakes. The aim is to note progress and improvement, and we expect to see this over time.

cool blog but you need to work on it more
ReplyDeleteHi! Jemma, you have suggested Charlie do some more work. Do you mean he needs to post more stories or do you mean he needs to do some more work on a story he has already posted? If it is to do more work on a current storythen what would you suggest he focus on? - Mr C
ReplyDeleteCockatiels by Charlie
ReplyDeleteMost cockatiels have an orange spot on their cheek.
A cockatiels life span is usually 15 to 20 years old. The oldest cockatiel lived to 32 years old. They have a lot shorter life than us.
Most cockatiels are found in Australia or Tasmania they are usually found in corners of islands not in the middle.
The cockatiels attitude is very greedy .Like if they want to sleep they will need a big bed. They all ways want more than they need.
People like having them as pet because they are very intelligent.

Orienteering report
ReplyDeleteOrienteering
on tuesday the 25th of june the year 5,6,7,8ts from a few schools of kapiti went to waikanae park to do some fun orienteering .there were 570 kids.
then they all started with a map and where set of at different times so they won't all go to the same clicker.they all had to run a long way to get to number 2 and 9 they were over the other side.
the first group back from waikanae was Marcus Dean and Jasmine and second place was vlad and charlie but it was so close so they called it a tie.this is charlies perspective.
orienteering was so fun we say it was a tie because we worked together.then it started we all started at different times but when we started what a rush to all the clickers in full speed.then finally the last clicker number 16 next we all ran to the finish the two teams were so close that they called it a tie then we sat there and waited for the bus just amazed that we won.
thank you for reading this report on orienteering hope you liked it .By Charlie
