Welcome to this Room 11 blog. Our learning philosophy is to LEARN, CREATE an artifact that shows our learning, and then SHARE it in creative ways, including posting it here on this blog. The purpose of this blog is for students to become accustomed to sharing their learning, recieving feedback, and preparing them for having their very own blog. While students will make every effort to have work corrected and error free it is in fact authentic student work, showing where students are at, and so there are likely to be some mistakes. The aim is to note progress and improvement, and we expect to see this over time.

libary

Room 11 and Room 18 go to the public library
On Monday 1st of July room 11 and room 18 went to the public library to see a speaker called Fire queen. I walked to the public library with kenza. Me and kenza laughed lots on the way to the library.
When we got to the library fire queen said hello to us in Mario. Then fire queen read us a story about a young lady who went to catch eels with her friends the lady was having so much fun that she did not notice that her friends were gone then a big ugly beast grab her and kept her as his wife because she was so beautiful. Every day when the young lady went out to grab some food she added some wood to her raft so she could escape the ugly beast. When her raft was ready she escaped down the river, when the beast woke up and found out that she escaped the beast thought he was so big that he could drink all of the river so his wife could not make it back home. When the young lady made it home she told everyone about what has happened. So all of her family went out in the day to kill the beast. They killed the beast by lighting a fire in his cave so he couldn’t get out. Once the beast was killed all the village lived happily ever after.

After the story we had to colour in a feather that was made out of materiel and at the back we had to write a goal. My father was colourful, it was striped with heaps of colours. Jasmines feather was white and had spirals all over her feather. It was really cool. I really enjoyed the library.
